Unfortunately, our first attempt to grow crops next to our trees has failed. We have tried to grow beans. Only the rains didn’t come and no harvest whatsoever. This season we did a new attempt. We asked for rain and our prayers were successful so far. In a few weeks’ time, we hope to show you the results of our hard work.
Because we never give up. We did a second attempt. This time more luck with the rain. We managed to harvest in June our first beans.
As a team, we are very proud of the result. A full bag of beans to sell to our local school to feed the kids a good meal.
We have realized we are too dependent on the rainy seasons, we would like to have a water pump. This water pump helps to irrigate our trees and crops and also excess water for local people selling at a reasonable price.
